  • tulle skirt – I had every intention of making one, but I happened to be in Goodwill and saw this red one for $4!!  Score!  Saved me time and money!
  • Minnie Mouse ears – again you can make these.  My daughter already had these from a Disneyland trip.  You can also buy one of these similar ones on Amazon

  • white iron-on vinyl
  • Teflon sheet or wax paper and iron

You can easily make a tulle skirt.  There are a lot of great tutorials on how to make a no-sew tulle skirt online.  Like I mentioned above, I happened to score this one at Goodwill for cheap.

To add the polka dots, I cut out a bunch of circles with my Cricut on heat transfer vinyl / iron-on.  In Cricut Design Space, I added the shape circle, you can size it 1-2 inches depending on what size of skirt you have, and cut out a bunch.

If you don’t have a Cricut (even though I think everyone should have one, find out why here!), you can trace circles and cut them out with scissors or try a hole punch.

Alternatively, you can cut circles out of white felt and glue them on with fabric fusion or unique stitch.

I laid the white dots around the skirt sporadically, put a Teflon sheet over them and ironed them on (highest setting).

Then peel off the plastic backing.  That’s it for the skirt!

You can also make the Minnie Mouse ears.  My daughter already had some so again, saved me time!  If you would like to make DIY Minnie Mouse ears, check out this great tutorial from Jennifer Maker.

Put on a black shirt and black tights, and you’re all set!  Super quick and easy DIY Minnie Mouse costume!
