Sometimes it’s hard to come up with creative teacher gifts that they will actually use. With three kiddos, we have been through a lot of teachers and it’s so cool to actually see them use a gift you gave them! Here are a few creative teacher gifts that I kept seeing pop up on Pinterest and knew I had to make and the teachers loved them!
The start of the school year is an exciting time for everyone! I love giving my kids’ teachers little teacher gifts to kick off the new year since they do so much for our kiddos. One year I was teacher appreciation co-coordinator for the whole school and I made these cute little notebooks for all 20 teachers! Here is a great video tutorial from Dawn’s Stamping Studio on how to make these cute post it notes covers. I found a pack of 4 little pens each at the dollar store to use. I put a stamp on the first post it that read “Happy 1st Day of School!”. Then I put one in each teacher box. There are tons of different ways you can decorate from using stamps, to flower embellishments, to ribbons, etc. Have fun creating!
Another simple idea that I saw quite a few of on Pinterest is the Survival Kit. I got a small plastic box at Joann’s (with a 40% off coupon!) and used my Cricut Explore Air™ to cut out craft vinyl. Then I made a cut card with Cricut Locker Talk cartridge and added it with twine to front. I filled the container with paper clips, pens, chocolates!, glue sticks, alcohol pads, band-aids, tacks, erasers, and highlighters. My kids hand it to their teachers when they walk into school the first day!

If you make a lot of creative teacher gifts or any gifts for that matter, it is well worth the money to invest in a Cricut cutting machine. It ends up saving you money from all the easy and cute gifts you can make! Check out my Ultimate Resources Guide for the Cricut here!
